Description

Development Manager is responsible for recruiting, training, and developing a team of Personal Financial Advisors (PFAs) to drive new business and ensure the renewal of existing business. This role focuses on building a strong team of PFAs, enhancing their productivity, and ensuring they meet or exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agent Licensing and Team Building:

    • Recruit and license new Personal Financial Advisors (PFAs) to build a high-performing team.
    • Ensure all agents meet regulatory and company licensing requirements.
  • Performance Management:

    • Drive the productivity of both new and experienced agents through continuous coaching and support.
    • Implement sales promotion strategies to motivate PFAs and enhance their sales performance.
  • Sales Achievement:

    • Ensure the achievement of new business targets through effective management of PFAs.
    • Drive renewal business by supporting PFAs in maintaining relationships with existing clients.
  • Training and Development:

    • Coach and mentor PFAs to provide need-based solutions tailored to customers' financial needs.
    • Deliver regular training sessions to improve PFAs’ sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Reporting and Compliance:

    • Maintain accurate business reporting, including daily sales call logs and performance metrics.
    • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, and report on sales activities regularly.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • New Agent Acquisition: Achieve 100% of the target for recruiting new PFAs.
  • New Business Target: Meet or exceed 100% of the target for new business generation.
  • Renewal Business: Maintain at least 80% renewal business from existing clients.
  • PFA Activation: Ensure 100% activation of PFAs, driving their engagement and productivity.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance sales, with a preference for candidates who have experience in handling and managing teams.

Behavioral Competencies:

  • Communication Skills:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language.
    • Ability to present confidently and build rapport with PFAs and clients.
  • Presentation and Confidence:
    • Ability to present information clearly and confidently to PFAs and clients.
    • Professional demeanor and appearance.

Additional Details

"Minimum 3 years of sales experience (preferred insurance/LI). Handling team experience will be an added advantage Bike/Vehicle required"
